When traveling internationally, I prefer Nokia ( e71, n95, n86 etc ) but if my choice was restricted to the BB 9700 or iPhone, I'd take the BB! I personally carry the Nokia E71 when going overseas. It's an amazing, and perfectly reliable, device!!

I wouldn't doubt that Nokia totally bends over for AT&T on this issue, just like S-E did. Big Blue is looking to jettison all the heavy data users on their network; they don't make any more money off of them than they would someone who consistently uses no more than 500MB-1GB and pays the $25...

Just a couple of quick questions, this is my first Nokia in a long, long time, does the NAM N97 from their NAM Nokia site, ship with a car charger? If not, is there any real danger if I were to buy just some cheapy $5 one off ebay? I really don't want to fry a $700 toy lol. Thanks in advance...

I see it as the start of QT for apps and a much more powerful hardware start level. QT apps for Symbian^3 will be easy to use on Symbian^4 while existing s60v5 apps will also work on Symbian^3 so no need to worry about if the developer will upgrade the app.

No Flashlite 3.1 support means no Flash 9 support either. It still packs Flashlite 3.0 meaning we're still stuck with flash 8 only :(

Hey, another question. How is the dpad? The n82 dpad is pretty bad to me. It's ok to use really quickly, but long session landscape browsing it starts to get annoying. So how is it for landscape browsing, and gaming for example? Comfortable and easy to use? Just ok? Terrible? Thanks.

The most I heard was Ricky hearing from a member of the development team that the NAM would be available a few weeks after the "global" version. The N97 may be launching "globally" at the same time in regards to the Euro, Asian, and Middle East Markets...but the red headed step children that...
