It's not at all unusual that Nokia and Microsoft would talk about all sorts of various projects on which they are partnered. As to talk of mobile phones and Windows Phone 7, the talks would probably be something like this:

As for OP, a split would be counterproductive. Half the time questions/posts gets double posted in the regular Nokia forum anyway. If you split it, then you just created yet another folder to post the same question...
I think that WinMo 6.5 is a desperate move of Microsoft to not get kicked out of the mobile market while they are able to get a polished version 7 that will probably receive some of this features and more love than 6.5
To be fair, this is also true of The Simpsons. Every year that show just gets stiffer and stiffer, which is a shame because the show used to have moments of truly snappy animation.
Sometimes it is nostalgia but typically if a show was bad then it's still bad now and if you don't notice that yet then maybe it's even better than you remember it.
