If the result of your HSG test was blocked tubes (or tube) then that was pre-existing. However, you should explore your legal rights for being given a tainted test.

Here is the CORRECT answer.
OPKs are looking for the LH hormone. Your LH surges in the morning. It takes about 4 hours for it to register in your urine, so morning pee is too early. You will get a false NEGATIVE. The best time to test for your LH surge is late morning... between 11am and up...
Be sure it's a BETA blood test which measures the actual amount of hCG in your blood, versus a qualitative blood test which works just like a urine test does.
A beta blood test can be done as early as 9 days after ovulation. So yes, you tested too early. Re-test on Monday.
