have you checked your oil? higher speed demands more oil flow, if your oil is low then the sump has no oil at higher speeds.

could be the float bowl is causing the over flow, shut the fuel off at the tank before you shut off the engine.

change the air filter and a small amount of sea foam in the tank, change the plugs. the other answers have you spending a few hundred dollars, if money is tight spend the least amount and see how it runs, have the valves set and the carbs tuned as a last resort. I'm not a tech but over 40 years...

with the bike running at 2 to 3000 rpm put a volt meter to the battery terminals you should get 14 to 14.5 volts if it doesn't read past 12.5 then it's the stator or rectifier.
