Yea, that's "positive" news. Who knws now though. It's only 2 days away, but man, I'm getting tired.

Looks like they're going for shambling, semi-slow, rotted zombies which is a plus in my book. Also good they're going for a bit more stylized designs, when filmmakers try to create realistic-looking people with cgi they tends to look weird.

I enjoy both, though i will admit that the toy-based cartoons do have some level of creativity in building personalities (dinobot from beast wars for example) since the characters are essentially a blank slate and its up to the writers to give them an engaging personality.

Worst promotion: The light box picture of The Mooninites set up around Boston to promote Aqua Teen Hunger Force Colon Movie Film For Theaters that resulted in a bomb scare, and WB having to cough up a huge fine and an apology.

Well, Buu was pure evil to begin with, but absorbing the Grand Supreme Kai made him have a more innocent personality. Once that part of Buu was yanked out, he became evil again.

Yeah, that's pretty loose continuity though. Those seem to be more along the line of Easter Eggs, really. The movie's pretty standalone. Just so long as a new series skipped past boring character reintroductions and don't adapt comic stories that have already been adapted, then I'm all for it...
