Me too, I think when it's first person you really get to know the character and feel their emotions. It's fun to get in their world and escape your own for a while. :)

I think they basically mean that they're just trying to make her really popular. They just try to make her really appealing to kids and young teens, but it's not really a bad thing. Disney probably wants Selena Gomez to become more famous than Miley, so that people will eventually just forget...
