CBC owns national rights to all Canadian teams on Saturday night broadcasts,so if you were looking for it on centre ice,they won't be there.

They are probally doing it for the NFL Sunday Ticket package which starts in September.

But doesn't the NFL require that your signal not be hackable in order to carry their games.Therefore maybe forcing EVu into doing something like switching to mpeg4 in order to get permission to show NFL Sunday Ticket.Don't want to lose those revenue's to the pirates.Just a thought.

Would it be like if they moved there NFL Sunday ticket HD games to mpeg4 and anybody that wants these channels would have to upgrade to an mpeg4 receiver?Doesn't the NFL demand that there product be secured so that no one can pirate Sunday Ticket?
