you won't lose anything. v40 added the homescreen. v50 fixes bugs in v40 and adds more features. they don't take away features. the cfw for the n97 is not out yet, and it's not even working 100%. you can get the hs and lose everything else like bt and stuff, what's the point lol.

Okay, now back to my original question: If I do a backup to memory card, then a hard reset, then a restore from memory card, (1) will I be missing anything? (2) will restoring from the memory card overwrite the "fresh" files that I've just installed by doing the hard reset?
