    Help w/ my car! 2000 ford escort zx2! it's dying on me?

    the lights (interior and even headlights) are dim and when i give it more gas, the lights brighten up. i let the car run like that to see what it would do, it sounded like it was just about to die even the tachometer needle just dropped all the way to the bottom and for awhile, wouldnt go back...
