    Does the union-yes crowd understand that a 40-hour work week mandate is

    It's not all the doing of unions, and only non-exempt hourly even get overtime pay, in California, at least. If you're exempt, and work overtime, if it's even authorised, you only get your normal hourly rate anyway.

    It's not a bonus, and it's an interest free loan to the government, but it sure beats having to pay.
