Motorcycle/sports bike help! 10 pts for best answer!?

5'9 at 15, you're pretty tall, a 250 would be best to start on, but finding one that fits you comfortably might be a problem. Most of the bikes that would suit you are too powerful for a learner. Maybe think about a 600-900 cruiser to learn on and then buy your crotch rocket once you have a few...

I need suggestions for a good "starter" bike....help?

The Honda would probably be better to start out on. Once you feel confident go for the Harley. I had a Harley Sportster Sport 1200 and I'm a giant 5'1". I did have to have a lowering kit fitted but the weight of the bike was no problem. If you do buy second hand try to get a late model with EFI...

Why do Harley Davidson engines rumble/shake?

It's the firing order, it's the way Harley's were designed. As for being an old design, they may be, but so is the pushrod V8 engine, if it works and people buy them whey change a tried and proven thing.

Is it true that Harley Davidson makes more money off of licensed tradmarked

Yes, they make more from selling T-shirts etc. The showroom and service bays do seem empty, maybe that's because Harley's are so reliable and don't break down. Is this why the sellers of Jap copies carry a spare one of everything, you never know what or when it going to break?

Piaggio MP3 - Security light flashing while riding, why?

While riding the other day the security light on the dashboard started flashing, it didn't seem to effect the feel of the bike, ie engine or suspension controller. I stopped the bike removed the key and waited 10min or so before restarting it, the light was gone, but on the way home the little...

Cremated Ashes - used in Motor Bike Frame Who?

Hmmm, now that's an interesting thought, I don't think I'd like the be incorporated in the frame of a bike. You'd be used, abused and then thrown on the scrap heap, too much like life I think. Isn't the afterlife suppose to be better? I know what you mean, put the ashes in the tube before it...

what could be wrong with my 2003 manual transmission ford focus? the engine

Your clutch is slipping, you'll need a new clutch plate and possibly a pressure plate and thrust bearing. It usually comes in a kit with all parts needed. You should get it replaced sooner rather than later because the fibrous material on the plate has worn down, if it wears down to the rivets...

    Help! Suzuki RGV 250 k 1989?

You won't find a 2 into 1 system for the RGV, being a 2 stroke it needs the expansion chambers to produce power and all 2 strokes sound tinny. If it feels slow and being such an old bike with probably alot of k's on the clock it's most likely due for a de-coke or re-bore. 2 strokes wear out fast.
