On iPhone 128MB is not sufficient for MT. At all. So they need the extra RAM. But it seems that even Nokia needs it now hence the new Out-of-Memory Monitor API. True screen res isn't great for that size screen but it is 3.5" and bigger than the N97 screen by a hair. I did the math in another post.
