    Go with the Rockford, it'll do better than the Boston.

    will a 1 ohm amp take a dual 1.4 ohm sub (fi car audio sub)?

    Don't go below the amp's stability level or you WILL fry the amp. .7ohms is pretty low, I would find an amp that can handle it or wire them differently. Good luck!
