    Wd smartware external hard drive does not work. light flashes and does not run at all.?

    it wont come up on my laptop it just has a flashing light and it does not come up on screen so theres no way to format it. i have reset it and unplugged and nothing works. any body got any better ideas?

    My wd smartware external hard drive wont work, the light up front keeps flashing.?

    as soon as i plug it into any usb on any computer or laptop it wont read it just flashes. ive tried reseting it, unplugging restarting the laptop and nothing works i cant even access it to format it. it doesnt read! how do i fix?
