while in the army my MOS's were Cook, supply Spec. Admin Spec, and Printer, (also driver) try to find somethign that will tranlate into a civilian job, just incase you dontl take the GI Bill. or don't have time for collge.
be careful I knew a SGT who was a printer and he was alos on the bosing team, he got kind of weird later, too many boxes to the head and started seeing monkeys and such and walking funny, he got out on a medical discharge, i felt sorry for him.
OK, in the army you get a hold of housing and there was always a waitnign list so you may want to consider either moving permanently living off post or him moving in th ebarracks and you off post until you get housing on post, you get a hold of trasportation to get your stuff moved at the next...
I swore in on july 1986 and wa s gone for basic in november, if he had a delay, he would be gone in another five months. ask him when he swore in. he can;t leave until he signs a contract and went theru MEPS. ask him what his MOS (the job he chose). if he can;t give you simple info like this...
