    ROGERS/AT&T Google N1 vs HD2

Nexus One -- no question in my mind, I think. The HD2 is a powerhouse, but it feels much like a Ferrari body kit on top of a regular car. You'll get a good experience in many ways, but at the end of the day what's inside is weak. The moment you leave HTC's interface, you're stuck with bad old...

    Palm Pre vs. Samsung Moment

Not to mention as well that I believe only 32% of WebOS apps are free whereas over 57% of Android apps are free. http://www.androidcentral.com/over-50-android-market-apps-are-free

Apple iPhone 3G [S] vs. HTC/Google Nexus One

Guys its useless trying to tell these guys all the things that they can't do. They are all hardcore apple boys till the end and close minded just like their OS. Once they get widgets, customizable home screens or anything else other OS's have already had (i.e. copy/paste, video, mms) they...

Blog Talkback: Cool Stuff: Le Phare

This is my favorite of the shorts I've watched in the last month or so. Le Phare (The Lighthouse Keeper) was created by Gobelins students, David Francois, Rony Hotin, J?r?mie Moreau, Baptiste Rogron, Ga?lle Thierry, Ma?lys Vallade. In this short a lighthouse keeper is roused from his slumber by...

    GSM/CDMA/AWS Phone ?

Yet another sad case of a rep saying things on topics they don't know much about. The Nexus S 9020T, which Mobilicity carries works on 900, 1700, and 2100 MHz for 3G. Not the 850 and 1900 you'd need for Telus or Bell. In fact, the 9020T will not work with Telus or Bell at all. Alas, I don't...

    Acme Looniversity-style "courses"?

Well, "recommended" means it's *suggested* one take said course, but you don't have to (thus Drag 101/Cheesy Disguises are electives)... but yeah, "Villains 101" should be bumped up to a prerequisite (before taking any further courses such as "Henchmen 101"). :-p (/me goes up to edit his...

    iPhone 4 vs. Nexus One

Actually, iPhone 3GS was never faster than the Nexus One on its original Android 2.1. Much less compared to Froyo. Furthermore Android 2.1 on some handsets like the Samsung Galaxy S and HTC Desire feels faster than the Nexus One due to localized driver optimizations.

    Overlooked Heartbraking/heartwarming Moments in Animation

Most of the adaptation of the British nuclear war graphic novel When the Wind Blows would do it. It revolves around a sweet, innocent old couple living in Sussex. They think that a nuclear exchange will be like the Blitz; an immediate horror that can be overcome. They and their cottage escape...

The Amazing World Of Gumball – News & Discussion Thread

I really have to admit that I'm enjoying Gumball a whole lot more than I expected to, I went into the series with very low expectations and I've now seen about 4 episodes in total and I can honestly say that I'm very impressed by it. The show is witty, funny, cute, and abstract all at the same...
