Any usb keyboard will work, ditto for any mouse. Borrow one from a Windows user in your house if there are any or ask a neighbor. It'll take 3 minutes to get your Mac back to normal.

1. No it will not crossover and affect the Mac side. There are no current MacOS X viruses, and the Windows variety will not affect it.
2. I believe you have to reformat the whole hard drive and reinstall all the software to reclaim the partition you would use for a Windows install.
The disk utility program (First Aid) requires you to have the original MacOS X DVD inserted in the disk drive and have restarted the Mac while holding down the "c" key, to get the full capabilities of it. I'd try that. You won't be installing any thing, just using the app on the DVD.
You must have most of your hard drive full and the system software and other needed applications are taking up most of it. Partitioning takes up a lot of the hard drive space.
Adobe requires the browser to be off, not just closed, to install FlashPlayer. Try and download it again, it'll give you the option of Adobe shutting down Safari and then installing the FlashPlayer. Let it do it.
