all depends on quality and where your buy. on 15 inch rims your could get some decent tires for under 300 bucks. so about 75 total per tire at discount tire co.

clean the mass air flow sensor with CRC mass air flow sensor cleaner, clean the throttle body, and check the IAC and FIT valves. all of these are common on hondas. also check air filter.

use sylvadine cream---not sure how you spell it but that is how it sounds....dont pop it cuz then you will have an open wound

spend 15 bucks and get a haynes manual from autozone. it will show you how. many vehicles require you to remove the bumper. i have done it on my accord. some unexpected bolts so the haynes manual is very useful. buy the part on ebay/online as auto stores and dealers will rip you off.

sounds like water ingestion... if you did suck water into the air intake, you probably did serious damage. flooded cars survive only when they are in a flood and are not running. i those cases, fluid changes take care of the problem, but since yours was running, you might be looking at engine...
