    Is Kicker 2500.1 zx amp better than a hifonics amp of the same rating?

    I'm getting 2 15 in kicker cvx subs and need a bigget amp and was wanting to purchase the kicker 2500.1 amp but the hifonics amp of the same power is cheaper.

    I have a mtx 1000watt rms @ 2ohm amp and i want to get two 15 in kicker cvr subs.?

    Should I get dual 2 ohm voice coil or dual 4 ohm voice coil subs to get the 2 ohms out of my amp?
