    yeah, a pleco would be great for doing that but u need to feed him sinking algae pellets which have added nutrients twice a week don't use goldfish or koi! they will eat algae but it's not right to starve them and make them eat it! how would u like to be starved and forced to eat dog food ...

    are u sure they aren't minnows? they might be neon tetras! em... it's hard to tell but i would say they are neon tetras (bright blue and red, small 1-2 inches,) or maybe a pleco or some type of catfish or loach! sorry it's hard to tell could u give any more information, did they look like...
