Nokia 5800 XM NAM(850/1900): Reviews, Issues, Tips, Tricks & Support Thread!!

I wanted PDF reading early on and the bundled Reader 1.5 wouldn't hack it (wouldn't open large PDFs...typical crippleware), so I had to buy the $15 Adobe Reader 2.5... works a champ though. http://www.quickoffice.com/adobe_reader/

    *OFFICIAL THREAD: Nokia N97

I was able to cancel two phones, but it required "screaming" to get to a supervisor and then transferred to fulfillment to get the cancel completed.

Android overtakes Symbian as the leading smartphone platform in Q4 2010

I'm not saying Nokia should use Vertu as its American brand, just that it already operates more than one brand and doing so isn't a foreign concept. I think that a separate brand for America is a totally workable solution, again, in principle.

Toon Zone Talkback - "Simpsons," "King of the Hill" Dominate WGA Nominations

I agree, bad choice for a Simpsons episode, but at least it's not the only one nominated. I'll be pleased if either "Haw-Hawed Couple" or "Stop! Or My Dog Will Shoot!" win, as I enjoyed both of those. King of the Hill's "Lucky's Wedding" is a good episode, too. Wouldn't mind seeing that get...

    gliches/goofs in animated films

Towards the end of the opening fight scene of G.I. Joe: The Movie, when Duke's carrying the flag up to the top of the Statue of Liberty, as the camera pans out to the wide shot, a few of the Joes keeps reappearing/disappearing as the shot changes, most noticeably the one in the jetpack.

    Logic of sequential re-runs

What is the logic behind re-runs shown out of order? I guess it doesn't matter with some shows but many are serials or have some kind of backstory that is hard to follow when shown in random order. We finally got digital cable in our area. I'm trying to watch some old series that I never saw...

Family Guy - "Business Guy" - Talkback [12/13]

Now this is what I call classic Family Guy. It would fit in well in the early seasons. Occasionally, they have episodes like this, and it makes the show still worth watching. Hopefully they're dne with Political stuff. I think the only issue Brian hasn`t preached on yet is health Care...

"Tara Duncan: The Animated Series" Pre-Release Discussion

Huh. Apparently, the series is premiering sometime this month in France on M6. I need to investigate this.. EDIT: Found nothing on M6's website, or the website for their kids block. I wish they'd just announce a premiere date already. :/

    Your favorite grouchy character thread

One of my favorites is William Murderface from Metalocalypse. He act as a strong contrast to the other characters, even though they all are dark and uncaring. Also, he's a good provider in the funny factor on the show (just his voice alone cracks me up).

Cartoons that you never saw the first time around, but liked later on

I just thought of another one: DangerMouse. I never saw it when it first aired (considering I wasn't born yet), and I don't recall ever seeing it in reruns on Nickelodeon, because I don't think I touched that channel until 1993. I took a gamble and bought a couple tapes of it off eBay ages ago...
