Well this really depends on you. Math isn't as big as everyone thinks. You could get away with middle school algebra quite nicely really.
It might only be a little challenging in the way that new topics often are, but other then that should be easy to moderately challenging.

i have a modest background in C and shell scripting so i figure the next natural language to learn would be Perl.
i'm looking for something that you personally found useful, a book, website, pdf...some kind of educational media for Perl

in short as a mac user i will not convince you to waste your money on one.

has anyone ever used everydns for domain name servers?
if your running linux what do you do with the perl script that they give you? they really didn't give any directions.

no...when you compress something it gets rid of some of the data, so although you could puff it up to its original size it would not have all the data that the original had
