am i able to connect a tmobile blackberry to verizon?

I have tried so many websites and i even tried to convert files to 3g2. and when i put it on the phone i still couldn't assign it as a ringtone..is it completely impossible to put free ringtones on this phone? and i already know Freeringtonesonline.net and Ventones DO NOT work for this phone...
