The machine I'm working on does not have a line diagram and I was needing to know how the check switch that is part of the lid switch works. When I jump the N.C. it works so I know that the micro switch is bad but the other wire from the N.O. does what? Thanks.

When we put the air conditioner on the fans come on for the air conditioner condencer but when we turn the a/c off they turn off and the car is hot enough to need the fan on. My guess is a relay but not sure.

I have a 1981 Buick 231 3.8 Liter V-6 and want to put in a performance cam and need to know if my ECM will act up if I do. I am going to put in a power pack from Edelbrock but I want to do the cam first before I change the carb just so it will not mess up the cam break in.

How do I know if I have a open or a closed loop system on my car? My car is a 81 Cutalss with a V-6 231 cu. in. Buick in it and the parts store always askes me if it is open or closed loop, now I am worried that I have some electrical parts mixed up. 15 hours ago - 3 days left to answer...

I'm not sure but it seems like when no air is flowing through your condenser that it quits rejecting heat. If you have an electric fan for your radiator and condencer that might be it.

Sounds like a vaccume leak. One of your many hoses under the hood has a crack in it.
