Conker's not really a big icon in the gaming world. He's only been in 2 games, neither of which were big sellers. Before you say he was in 3, remember that the third game you're thinking of was a watered down port, so that doesn't count.

Good interview in general, but I'm not so sure what I think about his "half-talents" comment. For The Simpsons' post-modern style, it's true, but many cartoons actually are very well-drawn and/or contain high-brow dialog. Just look at Chuck Jones' hunting trilogy.

What are some handicapped characters in Animation, that aren't a burden to others? The only one I can think of is Toph Bei Fong, she uses her Earthbending talents to "See" so to speak, as she is blind. She uses her Earthbending to see vibrations and see where she's going.

I disagree on both counts. I feel that with both the Tick and Animaniacs, the quality of the show was pretty consistant from the first to last episodes. In fact, I think the Tick wasn't on long enough to even Jump the shark. And I feel a lot of the stories they did on the WB Animaniacs were...
