i know virgin mobile runs on sprints network, which is cdma and i know verizon also runs on cdma. so is it somehow possible to unlock a verizon smartphone to work with virgin mobile and use all of virgin mobiles features?

My family is going to switch to Tmobile eventually, so i am wondering if the G1 phone is a good phone. I know its not made but i can always get it online and if i buy a phone online without a contract like on ebay, can i pay the even more plus plan thing?
