It matters very little what your college major is when applying to law schools. Law schools look at 1-LSAT scores 2-college quality/GPA 3- extra curricular activities.
If you switch to phys ed, just make sure that you're chairman of the department, ok?

I don't know the law in your state but there's a concept called "abandoned property." The law will set out the time frame when the original owner loses his rights.
