i just bought my new sidekick slide and i put the battery and my sim card in and charged it for around 4 hours and it wont turn on at all

we have been together for about 9 months but shes going to nyu and im going to syracuse and the schools are 5 hrs away so we wont get to see eachother a lot. im thinking that i shouldnt leave highschool with any strings attached. and its not only that but we'll both be in college for 4 years and...
