When I turn my heater on it doesn't heat and it smells like something burning also the lever in the heat control panel that pulls the wire feels like it stuck.

So both the battery and the alternator are bad. I can charge the battery overnight It will hold enough charge to start the truck. I only have enough to buy one of these items. I need to go to work tomorrow should I replace the alternator and drive to work or should I replace the battery

My ford truck is leaking oil i was told to replace the rocker arm cover gaskets .I was going to do it myself but I dont know how to remove my fuel injection. Is it easy ? Can I screw it up?
When installing new brake pads in the front wheels is it ok to just compress the brake piston with a clamp with out bleeding the line?I"m doing it by myself and don't have any one to help me bleed the lines.Will it damage the master cylinder? P.S I already did it will my brakes work tomorrow?
