I just picked up the N86. I wanted to know if anyone else have this problem. My standby clock would stay on for an hour or more or could be less, then it goes off. Is this a bug?

Is there a particular reason you can't switch to Verizon and still keep the N86? I'm not sure I follow your logic.

This is a Rogers branded firmware! I didn't even know they were launching this phone. Strange that they get the update before the generic NAM US code. Regardless, wouldn't touch their firmware... always crippled in some way. Hopefully the generic isn't far behind.
