    Two reasons,big bore two strokes can use a compression release or run an extra spark plug.Two strokes are notorious for fouling plugs.

    The crankcase may be full of gas or the crankshaft seals are bad.Do you have good spark on the plug? Is the plug fouled?

    Did you put the shift forks back in right?Some shims may have been put in the wrong places,I always measure the shims with calipers and document their locations.The gears could have been put on the shafts wrong.Did you install the rachet mechanism on the shifting drum correctly?
