Should individual rights ever be suspended for the greater good? Why or why not?
Rights include:
Freedom of speech, religion, property, assembly, fair trial, right to bear arms, etc.
Any "right" that results in someone's labor is not a right.

Kirby, It's always person1's best interest for the government to take money from person2 and give it to person1. It's not the right thing to do if everyone decided to vote for their own best interest. People should vote for the best interest of the Constitution.
Should people only be proud of accomplishments rather than innate characteristics?
Accomplishments such as: Learning how to play a song, helping others, making through basic in the Army, winning a competition (anything from sports to drinking), finishing a book, creating something, etc.

I don't get this. It's hard to be middle class and be able to obtain financial aid. A kid who has a mother who stays home all day doing nothing but house work has a higher chance of getting financial aid than a kid who has two hard working parents. The hard working parents even have to pay...
