Found something. If I hook the 3100 up direct to the TV, it works, but via the reciever...nothing...Why? Is it because it goes component from the reciever to the TV??? I get sound.

Hey all, Since I first had my 3100 I've always used the TV coax out for the video signal, but now I have changed my setup, and I can't seem to get the other outputs to work? I've tried the RCA and SVIDEO and I only have audio working. Any idea's? Is their an option to turn this on or...

I would go with a deck first. No matter what kind of speakers you have in there now, a new deck will increase the sound quality by quite a bit.

Best bet would be to just go buy an aftermarket headunit like an alpine, kenwood, pioneer etc.
