I set the auto equalization on my radio, and whenever I switch to a different radio station, it changes to a different setting. How do I set it for all stations?

I just bought this car, and I used the remote at the dealership to open the back gate. However, now the remote won't work to lock the car or open the gate. I replaced the battery with no luck. I sent an email to the dealership, but in the meantime, does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks!
