I completely understand that electronic devices ahve their issues, but the iPhone is pretty bad for a company whose tag line at one time was 'it just works'. After havign the first iPhone and getting 5 bars at home, it makes me wonder why the new 3G only has 1, and sometimes shows no service.
You currently have your email set up through Nokia Messaging and not a direct IMAP connection. The giveaway is the server name of messaging.nokia.com. If you want a direct connection to Gmail then you need to delete the account and setup a new Gmail account on your N86 and decline the offer...
For me NAM N series package(GPS, 5MP, Stereo speakers) with 32GB internal storage + 16GB microSD(as of now) & physical QWERTY is important.. Though I hate resistive screen :doh:
You can get v21 via ota. It's a very small update, like 700k. I'm sure it just overwrites whatever files that were updated. Compared to the full firmware from suite where it's the whole thing. In the end it's the same.
Definitely worth it as gps locks super fast, flash is fixed in the browser...

Agreed. Regardless of the ways anyone tries to spin it, this is (and will always be) a fact. The Omnia HD's features are more advanced than the N97's, that's proved with the numbers and letters on the spec. sheet.

Yup, it won't be easy for sure. But here again I think there may be HUGE regional differences on how succesful they will be. In certain countries/regions Nokia still has quite a bit of existing customers that are quite open to considering Nokia as their next device, and many of them actually...
I was just doing some testing and have encountered another issue. I also want to keep the contacts in sync with my personal PC. I had assumed that I would be able to treat Gmail as an exchange server but it appears this is not the case.
