    No its not. if you know your oil is full dont worry. It is a common problem on the R6 and R1 from 98-2001. One way to help it go out is to just top off the oil and put a little extra in to bring it just a tad past the full mark. usually helps. Its a design flaw in oil sensor set up. You are fine.

    you need to jet it. its cheaper and if you could find a performance carb (mikuni) it will be expensixe and if its only piped, the carb wont do you any good. very little performance increase if you have no internal mods done to it.

    it might be the throttle body. there were a lot of problems with the throttle plate sticking in a lot of the trucks. if it is hard to press the pedal and eventually it snaps free when you are pushing it, then it has this problem. have the throttle body cleaned.
