I got a new iphone. I have my regular att sim card from my blackberry and i putted in my original iphone with the silver back will anything happen ? People are saying you will have to get iphone plan or something like that. If thats true can't i just unlock the iphone and put my att card in it...

I am about to get a 2G Iphone and I wanted to know if I can just pop in my att sim card and the phone will work ? I know it sounds stupid but I am just making sure. MY sim card already has a plan and stuff on it.

I am about to buy a Iphone on the ATT site and it says iphone for $99.99 and when I went up to add to my cart and checked out the total was $104. Was that all I needed to do ? After the checkout I have to put in payment info and pay for the for for $104 and thats all? I already have a plan
