Front end shakes violently when hitting a bump at 40 mph. replaced steering gearbox, out tie rod end and connecting rod and the steering stabilizer shock. Brand new 3" lift kit so its not the shocks or track bar. wheels and tires have been balanced. could it be the front wheel u joints?
it vibrates really bad at 40 mph and the faster i go it gets even worse. i just lifted my jeep. could it be the alignment because its way off. and can anyone explain why?
it happened before i put new tires on. so its definitely not a tire balancing issue or wheel bearing because it drove fine...
whats the difference and how can i tell if i have the x or w? my vin number has an x in the middle of the number but im not sure if thats what i should be looking for. i have a 1997 Chevy S10 pickup LS.
