If you do decide to write anything stock android would be easyest to work with if you plan on writing ROMS, Theme, ect. If you plan on just making an APP then either will work although I think Droid will get 2.2 before the Incredible due to HTC sense.

Is there a way to get a shortcut or one-key keypad lock? I would love to have the right soft-key do this, but there isn't an option for it in settings. Also, is there a program that will auto-lock the keypad even when the phone is in a third-party program?
