I'd go with the Kickers. My buddy has them and they're decently loud, but not quite defening. Plus they sound better.

I'm planning on buying two 15" subs and was going for the l3's. How much more loud are they than the Comps? Do these sound good with hip-hop and dubstep? Will they be heard from a couple blocks away with a ported enclosure? Thanks guys

I'm looking for powerful ballads that reach into peoples emotions, I may just be 13 but I have a large range. I'm looking for songs like "I will always love you" by Whitney Huston and "Alone" by Heart. I prefer no country unless it's really ballad like. So thank you!
