I'm no longer a 'Top Contributor' because I don't have enough time to hang out here. But no, I don't work for NASA. I know some people who do, and I've done a couple of consulting things that ended up involved with the Space Program, But that's about the extent of my relationship to NASA. Doug

That really is a very excellent question. My guess is that a races interest in (and involvement with) technology is probably proportional (in some sense) to how difficult it is for them to survive. i.e. How much work do they have to do to provide whatever their 'basic necessities' are? Also...
