The Storm2 has an aging interface, and that push-down screen will drive you nuts for typing.

I'm a very basic phone user, which is funny since I work in the IT field. I just never got into mobile technology, but maybe I'm spoiled due to always having a laptop available.
Thing is, I need a phone. While I'm getting a phone, I would LOVE to have wifi so it can help me with site surveys...
Agreed - a nice software thread for the kinds of activities *I'm* interested in, after a LONG spell of (important to some but not me) discussions about Nokia Messaging, email, Social crap^H^H^H^Hwebsite queries and issues.

what instant messaging program do you guys recommend for this phone? My personal favorite so far is slick, but it doesn't support adding mobile numbers so you don't waste text messages on them. i tried fring, which is compatible with the 5800 but there are some really annoying ui issues that...
if this really is coming out in september i will definitely be waiting to see what HTC offers in terms of android in Q3. nokia is shooting themselves in the foot by not releasing this phone now.

Although the "Grafitti anywhere " app was very usefull on earlier Palms.
There is no need for it on the Palm Tx.
Just Tap the wavy line icon on the Tx screen,(3rd icon in from the right at the base of the screen)
and you can write full screen grafitti.
Tap it again to get out of full screen...
