I don't believe so. All we paid for was installation, then we had 6 months of free programming.

If you've read my recent rants, you'll know I've (unfortunately) had to officially drop BEV at this point. I have a question though, seeing as how I have to keep my programing for at least 30 more days, would I be able to suspend it for those 30 days and only pay the $10 suspension fee?

@I hate tv: Those models are a wee bit expensive right now. Plus, I just bought a 5900 yesterday, so I doubt I'll be buying a new receiver anytime soon. @Nimiq 1: As soon as I find the box, I'll take a picture and post it. Easier said then done though, with the amount of boxes in my basement...

I tried unplugging it for a good 30 minutes; no go. Still won't turn on :( I'm highly considering switching to Cogeco at this point. Not just because of this, but the lump sum of problems I've had with BEV. It's gotten ridiculous at this point. I'm probably going to have to send this receiver...

Ah, that's the answer I was looking for, thank you! Do you think there is any possability of other receivers receiving an update to that linux bassed firmware? It's much easier on the eyes.
