Remember that the $10m was not all price money - it included marketing support etc. But if there are no S^3 AT&T phones, they of course won't spend that money. So, the competition may survive, but the total value of the prices and in-kind support will probably be nowhere near $10m. My guess.

I agree hondaguy, I returned my N86. I tried the generic fw too and couldn't get maps to stay open for longer than a minute. I have a N82 as backup and scrolling through menus and apps is probablt 2x as fast than the N86 was. Totally unacceptable! I loved the camera and size but it is totally...

I saw a Roger Rabbit comic once in which he tried to get a job in a limited-animation TV show (kinda like Hanna-Barbera). Roger tried to fit in, but he kept screwing up - he couldn't stay stiff, he'd start squashing and stretching. It was pretty funny.
