It doesn't increase demand - it creates a shortage in quantity supplied v. quantity demanded.
Quantity supplied does not shift the demand curve for a product.
If there is in fact a shortage, and apple is aware and hasn't corrected the issue, it could be a tactic to give the iphone some...
I jsut updated to JF 1.5 and for data sync it says it needs background data enabled? I dont want to get charged with data services because I DO NOT have a data plan. will this charge me?
Remember that the $10m was not all price money - it included marketing support etc. But if there are no S^3 AT&T phones, they of course won't spend that money. So, the competition may survive, but the total value of the prices and in-kind support will probably be nowhere near $10m. My guess.

I loved the camera and size but it is totally...
Well the animated Star Wars Clone Wars isn't the worst in my book but near worst, theres too many pointless "cliffhanger" scenes like in the Star Wars prequels and the animation is just dreadful, most of the voice actors have strong emotions within their voicing but itlooks bad when the...
I saw a Roger Rabbit comic once in which he tried to get a job in a limited-animation TV show (kinda like Hanna-Barbera). Roger tried to fit in, but he kept screwing up - he couldn't stay stiff, he'd start squashing and stretching. It was pretty funny.
