With AT&T, you can talk and use the internet at the same time; you can't with Verizon. Their plans and prices are pretty similar since they're competitive. If you're considering one of them, check out their service maps and compare for your area. One might have 3g where you live and the other...

I use a Jawbone II headset. It has background noise cancellation and the clarity is really good. There are a couple colors to choose from. Here's a link to Amazon.
