ok so i got the alpine 9886 the other day kind of an older model o well.... hooked it up...note this is like my 10 time hooking up my own system, so i get everything hooked up, turn the bad boy on an it works, so the radio is playin sound through the speakers, i go to put a cd in, an it reads...

tryin to hook up my alpine 9886 cd player to my ponatic g6, an the harness made for my car does not have a red (power) wire... know other harness will fit my car.... how can i hook up my power wire if i cant hook it up to my harness

getting new subs..... im also prolly going to go with a 1000watt amp.... i am gettin two subs in a ported box,..... any thoughts are good thoughts.... ummm whats the difference between 2ohm or 4ohms .... system is going in a 07 g6 if that mattes

i got a system on the way 2 typr r's 2ohm an a m 1000 alpine amp, well my stock cd player in my car dont have rca jacks, an i dont wanna cut the wire to do the remote wire, any ideas to still hook up a system??????????

JL AUDIO, ALPLINE, KICKER, ROCKFORD FOSGATE......THATS ALL I WOULD GO WITH UNLESS YOU WANNA SPEND IN THE GRANDS

i would go with the 750.1 you will get more out of your sub that way it will also make it sound better

i ran into that problem before an i had to get help sorry im answering an im not going to be any help but good luck

whats good whats good? i just got a new car a 07 G6 Gt....... i need a system of course . i plan on keepin the stock cd player for the time being cause all the features. im having a hard time picking a brand amp to go with.... my last system was JL everything with a apline head unit.... sold...

as of right now im keeping my stock cd player... i also already have 2 10inch kicker solo baric's they are old as hell an the last amp that pushed them was a 760 watt pioneer amp.... im looking to get a good amp to push those subs an when those subs are no longer good get new subs what brand...
