    In cars, what is accelleration measured in?

    The Mazdaspeed3 gets 0-60 in 5.8 seconds. The Pontiac G8 GXP gets 0-60 in 4.5 seconds. No other sites give me this information, though they do give me technical specifications such as horsepower, displacement, torque, etc. Can acceleration be given through these technical specs?

    Anyone having an 1988, 89 or 90 GMC S15 they are using or working on I would be happy to hear from you. I bought my S15 new and its current true mileage is 93453, and runs great.
