Nice review, Howard. I'm not a Nokia expert, I've used a few in the past, most recently being the E71. I've enjoyed the N8 for the last 6 weeks. On the threaded msg subject, at first I put a shortcut for messages on my main homescreen, then eventually changed that shortcut to conversations...

There's no kinetic scrolling so it's choppy if you try to scroll too fast. However, the scroll bar on the right is easy to grab with your finger and scrolling with that is very smooth

Dont know about you guys but it seems like the phone is snappier... maybe its just me. Any changelog yet for the NAM fw update? i think we can all see that turn to silence and email on stanby are two new options. its fw version 20.175.201.3

Jumper the leads and shock charge it, bag it and drop it in the freezer for a few hours afterwards, and then charge it again.

just a bunch of photos that they include and some songs. and some vids. stuff that you would usually delete for space anyways. formatting the card, will help with the distortion, but it won't necessarily eliminate it completely. if you have songs with a lot of bass, it will still be there.

Well quality still plays a factor. They only air one episode a week but there's several airings for Sym-Bionic Titan, Generator Rex, etc. on CN and they do have that early morning action line-up which occasionally plays somewhere worth while but the real winners for CN action are in prime time...

I don't think it's flash. I remember at the official blog mentioned that use Toon Boom. In fact, much of stuff we label as "flash" is actually animated with Toon Boom.

Outsourcing Animation to India An amigo sent me this and he reminded of the Simpsons movie end credits where there was an endless list of Korean animators. It looks like India is taking their place.

ADV only liscensed the "first season" of Medabots. A recent press release from them stated they were releasing the "final" volume in the series, which leads me to belive they don't have the rights to the new season that's airing on ABC Family. Too bad they couldn't work out a deal with ADV...
