I was wondering which car on average would be cheaper to insure, rather a 1999 Ford Countour SE with the 2.0L engine (140000miles) or a 2005 Ford Five Hundred SE FWD, with a 3.0L engine (26000miles). I am a newer driver.

The Ford has a much larger and stronger frame in it, which is good for pulling trailers as it will last longer, it also can pull more weight. Most of the ranchers around here use the Ford F250-F350 as well, so there must be a reason for that.
