    Is the 6inch dobsonian telescope from Orion a good tele to start with?

    I'm purchasing the Intelli 6inch 150mm dobsonian tele. So I was wondering if I'll be able to gaze at galaxies and nebulas with the tele. Also how clear will I see mars, and planets like Jupiter with this tele? thanx
